The fight is on for TurboTax and TaxCut this year, and TaxCut wins round one, and I'll give TaxCut round two as well.
A lot of folks are upset with the cost of TurboTax this year, with the price including one federal e-filing, then requiring payment for each return that is e-filed using the same software. Now TaxCut is rubbing salt in the wound by changing its pricing so that 5 federal returns and 1 state return can be filed from their tax software, which is priced lower than TurboTax to begin with.
