Great advice. As an investor, I will tell you that the real key to success in real estate investing is education, not "finding people you can trust". I believe there are still too many 'Madoff's' in the real estate investing scene and (real estate investor) consumers need to be educated in all aspects of real estate if they are going to be truly successful. Many people have gotten lucky in real estate, especially between 2003 & 2005, but you can teach luck, not can you rely on it to build wealth.

Speaking of luck, it seems like this millionaire real estate investor was long on luck and short on talent. With advice like "In fact, waiting is the worst thing you can do in real estate. The sooner you buy, the better for your wealth growth," it's a wonder she didn't become broke by the age of 30.
