Reuters.com reportsfFourteen of the world's largest mobile phone and chip makers, including Sony Ericsson, Vodafone Group (VOD) and ARM Holdings (ARM), joined the Open Handset Alliance on Tuesday to support the Android mobile device platform developed by Google.
