iTunes Ropes In All Four TV Nets for High-Def Downloads

Apple now has all four major TV networks on board to sell high-definition versions of their prime-time programming via iTunes. HD shows will cost $1 more than the $1.99 standard-def versions. iTunes and other pay-to-play download services represent one end of the TV-via-the-Web spectrum; at the other stand free sites, like Hulu, that include advertisements.
